Originally from Cambridgeshire but now based in Norfolk, Luna Guthrie is a lifelong film fanatic. She always found the filmmaking process fascinating, watching every behind-the-scenes featurette that '90s VHS had to offer, but she figured this passion would never be more than a hobby. That was until she took Film Studies classes at college, and the world of film journalism introduced itself.

In the years since, she has been writing non-stop about film as a critic and feature writer. Her areas of specialism include horror, indie, adult cinema, video nasties and obscure titles from the '70s and '80s. Her work has been published by Monstrous Flesh, Collider, UK Horror Scene, EDP24 and NXGZine, among others, as well as on her personal blog. She has gained praise from directors, writers and actors whose work she has covered, and been featured on DVD covers and other promotional materials.

Her first book, Goosebumps: The Making of Cult Kids' TV, was published in October 2025.
